The school or college leaving certificate in original.  ( T.C.)
A good character certificate from the head of the institution where the applicant previously studied. (Original)

Three attested copies of the qualifying marksheet and two copies of 10th class marksheets .

(The original marksheet should be produced for verification.)

Migration Certificate original and 3 photocopies.
Eligibility Certificate originals and 2 photocopies (outside C.G. Board & Surguja University)

Gap certificate for those who have discontinued their studies previous to this admission.

Blood Group Test Report (original)
Fitness test Certificate from Holy Cross Hospital Ambikapur (Original - for Hostellers)
The students should keep with them at least three attested copies of mark sheets as they are required at the time of Enrolment in the University, applying for Scholarship & Examination.
SC/ST/OBC students should keep with them the following certificates in addition to the above.
  (a)   Marksheet, Income and Caste certificate from authorised person (Tahsildar) origina and 3 photocopies.
  (b)   Hostellers should keep with them all original certificates in the Hostel for use   whenever required.
  (c)   Extra pass port size photo to be kept with the candidates.
Cut off percentage will be decided at the time of merit list prepration according to the availability  of seat.
Preference will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority community.
01. If any required document is missing at the time of admission, the admission will be cancelled.
02. Name will be cancelled  from the Merit List if a candidate fails to take admission on the given date.






01. (i) The application form along with the prospectus can be obtained from the office of the principal either on cash payment of Rs. 200/- or by post on sending demand draft of Rs. 260/- drawn in favour of the "Principal, Holy Cross Women's College, Ambikapur (C.G.)"
  (ii) The application on prescribed form completed in all respects together with attested photographs and duly attested copies of other relevant documents in support of candida ture, be sent or submitted to the office of principal.
02. Separate application for each course of study is required to be submitted. Application form of one course of study shall not btransferred or considered for another course of study.
03. All fees are to be paid in cash at the counter of the college or through Demand Draft drawn in favour of the(Principal, Holy Cross Women's College, Ambikapur (C.G.) )and enclosed with the application form.
04. Application received late or without application processing fee will not be registered and those without all the required enclosures or complete; will not be considered. Such applications shall be rejected outright.
05. The candidate, who has appeared at the final year of degree course of the qualifying examination, can also apply for admission, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility condition   by the last date of admission announced by the college.
06. The candidate, will be responsible for the facts and informations entered in the application form. The students offering a full-time course will not be admitted to any other full-time course. (Degree/Diploma)
07. Any attempt at pressurising, lobbying or otherwise unduly influencing the designated authority in whatever manner of indulging in unseemly behaviour,   undesirable conduct, showing disrespect to the principal, teacher or officer or any other staff of the college, will render the applicant unfit and disqualified for admission to any department of the college.



01. Applications received will be screened by the Admission Committee of the concerned  Department.
02. The admission to all the courses will be made on the basis of academic merit/personal interview, which is specified.
03. Separate merit list shall be prepared in respect of candidates in each category on the basis of marks secured by them in the qualifying examination and personal interview.
04. The admission shall be made on the basis of merit list subject to availability of seats as per list prepared by the admission Committee of respective departments. The list shall be placed on the Notice Board of the College.
05. In case, two or more candidates in the merit list have the same percentage of marks in thequalifying examination (on the basis of selection), one who has higher marks at the +2 level will be admitted.
06. Non deposition of required fee by the last date notified shall result into failure of candidature for admission and will entitle the next candidate in merit list for admission.
Candidates who qualify B.Sc. with Bioscience/Botany/Biochemistry/Zoology/Microbiology/ Biotechnology with good academic record with at least 55% marks at degree level.
Required marks for admission to this course would be 55% and above. Graduates of B.A. with Psychology as a subject, B.Sc. & B.H.Sc. can take admission to this course. Selection will be on the basis of merit.
Graduates with minimum 55% marks having Economics as a subject at B.A. Level.
ENGLISH (Literature)
Graduates with minimum 55% marks having English Literature as a subject at B.A. Level or B.A. & B.Sc. Degree holder who has done all her studies in English medium and having 60% marks in Foundation Course English and a minimum of 55% marks in the Optional subjects.
HINDI (Literature)
Required marks for admission to this course would be 55% and above. Graduates having Hindi Literature as a subject at B.A. level will be given preference.
Candidates who quality B.Com. with good academic record with at least 55% marks at degree level.
Graduates with minimum 55%  marks having any of the following subjects-Botany/Zoology/Bio-science/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/microbiology/Industrial Microb iology at B.Sc. level.
Graduates from any discipline with minimum 55% marks.

Note :-
01. Incomplete form will not be accepted in any case neither any undertaking will be accepted for any missing documents.
02. Kindly keep attested photo copies of the documents as it won't be available from the office neither going home will be allowed.
